Apprentice Plumber

P&K Plumbing serves families in Greenwood and throughout the south side of Indianapolis, and we are committed to treating our customers like family. We pride ourselves in being the reliable, go-to guys that are easier to reach than a next-door neighbor.

Responsibilities

Determine the equipment, tools or materials needed for a job
Keep records of assignments and produce work reports
Deliver exceptional customer service
Ensure safety is the highest priority in each work location
Accomplish hands-on plumbing tasks when asked
Perform cutting, fitting, connection and installation of plumbing piping with direction from a plumber or supervisor
Maintain various plumbing systems both inside and outside of homes and buildings
Ability to read and understand blueprints, specs and diagrams

Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma
Effective communication skills
Understanding of mechanical tools
Ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment
Flexible schedule
Reliability and timeliness
Field experience is a bonus, but not required
Eagerness and willingness to learn from our journeymen!
